Touch Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-24
This Privacy Policy explains how Touch (the "App") handles data when you use daily prompts, text/photo/audio entries, and related iOS integrations.
1. What Touch stores
- Journal entries: text, photo selections/captures, and audio recordings you add for each day.
- App preferences: local settings such as feature toggles and app behavior choices.
- Prompt and timeline data: the daily prompt context and your history timeline state.
2. Permissions and feature usage
- Camera: used when you capture a photo entry.
- Photo Library (read/write): used when selecting a photo or saving captured photos.
- Microphone: used when recording short ambient audio for an entry.
- Health: optional mindful-session logging to Apple Health when enabled by you.
- iCloud/CloudKit: used to sync supported Touch data across your Apple devices.
3. Data sharing and tracking
Touch is privacy-first. The app does not include third-party analytics SDKs for behavioral tracking. Data is primarily stored locally and synced through Apple-provided iCloud services when enabled.
4. Data retention and deletion
- Entries stay on your device and in your iCloud account (if sync is enabled) until you delete them.
- Photos saved to your photo library can be removed from the Photos app.
- Removing the app deletes app-local storage on that device.
5. Your choices
You can deny or revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings. If Health integration is enabled, you can also manage Health access from the Health app and iOS privacy controls.
6. Security
Touch uses Apple platform APIs and system protections. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but reasonable safeguards are applied through native frameworks.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as features or legal requirements change. The date above reflects the latest revision.
8. Contact
For privacy questions, use the support channel listed on the app's distribution page. You can also return to the Touch homepage.
